The strategic marketing and public relations company, which specialises in the water and wastewater sector, has appointed Nancy Smith as technical writer and client manager.

Nancy has more than five years of experience in the water sector, having held the position of communications & engagement executive at Water Resources East. During her time there she co-ordinated their transition to an independent company, creating a cohesive communications strategy ranging from engaging social media posts to in-depth academic reports.

A trained journalist and social scientist with a passion for communications and the power of telling a story, Nancy has diverse experience including working on international water conservation projects. Nancy said: “There has never been a more exciting time to work in water sector communications, and I look forward to working in close partnership with our clients, helping them connect with their customers and peers.”

WiseOnWater founder and chief executive Natasha Wiseman said: “I’m delighted to welcome Nancy onboard. The uptake of new water technologies and solutions is gathering apace, which creates a need for people who are able to articulate the stories emerging in this highly technical field.

“With Nancy’s creative flair and solid background in water and journalism, we are better placed than ever to help our clients communicate the vital work they do within water utilities, industry and communities.”
