Nuvonic launches UVpro FMT air and surface treatment to boost hygiene standards across industries

Nuvonic, a global UV technology solutions provider, has announced the launch of UVpro FMT (Flange Module Tank) UVC disinfectors for the treatment of air and surfaces in storage tanks. This innovative solution ensures the cleanliness and safety of storage tank environments in various industries, including food and beverage, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.

The UVpro FMT is specifically engineered to be installed in storage tanks, where its flange-mounted lamps effectively eliminate germs in the air and on inner tank walls. Using advanced UVC technology, Nuvonic’s solution provides a highly efficient disinfection process, safeguarding the integrity of stored products and maintaining optimal hygiene standards.

A key advantage of the UVpro FMT system is its compliance with HACCP and IFS requirements for splinter protection. The lamps are PTFE coated, providing enhanced safety measures, including being shatter-proof and ensuring the system adheres to industry regulations and guidelines. This not only safeguards the environment but also provides peace of mind to users, knowing that the UVpro FMT system prioritises safety while meeting the stringent standards of quality and compliance.

The UVpro FMT system is available in FMMT (mono) and FMDT (duo), providing options catering to different tank sizes and disinfection requirements. Its low-pressure design ensures energy efficiency, making it a cost-effective choice for sustainable operations.

UVpro FMT allows easy installation and retrofitting, making it a versatile choice for new and existing storage tank setups. The system includes a monitoring unit that ensures continuous function monitoring. In the event of malfunction or tube failure, an alarm message is triggered through a potential-free contact, ensuring prompt attention and action.

Christopher Mueller, Head of Sales, Air and Surface at Nuvonic, said:

“Uncompromising air and surface disinfection is an absolute necessity for storage tanks across industries. Harnessing the power of ultraviolet light, the UVpro FMT kills germs with unrivalled efficiency. With its easy installation, energy efficiency, and compliance with industry standards, we are confident the UVpro FMT system will significantly enhance safety and hygiene practices in various sectors.”
