Pump Supplies announces two new strategic distribution agreements with Xylem

Pump Supplies has signed two significant strategic distribution partnership agreements with Xylem, a global leader in water technology.

The first agreement sees Pump Supplies becoming responsible for the sale of Xylem pumps to 250 UK-based Xylem customers. The partnership aims to enhance the availability and support of Xylem’s high-quality pump products to a broader range of customers.

Furthermore, its recently acquired sister company, PDAS, has secured an exclusive distribution agreement for Xylem’s packaged pumping station products and Adoptable Pump Station (DCG) installations. This agreement positions PDAS as the sole distributor for these pumping systems, ensuring dedicated and specialised service for these advanced pumping solutions, DCG installations, and service and maintenance contracts. PDAS will now handle all new enquiries for pumping station design and installation work, and its team of industry experts will assist Xylem in completing all existing projects.

Pump Supplies has a long history with Xylem (Flygt) having been a key distributor for over 25 years and is the largest supplier of Flygt pumps in the UK. It stocks a supply of Flygt pumps and spare parts across its depots including accessories, pipework, panels, valves and fittings. The Pump Supplies and PDAS teams will work closely with Xylem and its customers to assist in delivering current and ongoing projects.

Commenting on the agreements, Luke Beattie, Managing Director at Pump Supplies says:

“We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Xylem through this strategic distribution partnership. These agreements reflect our commitment to providing top-tier products and services to our customers and supporting Xylem’s mission of solving water challenges worldwide.”

Founded in 1982, Pump Supplies is one of the largest suppliers in the UK of electric submersible water pumps. Its offer includes drainage, sewage and slurry pumps as well as an extensive range of accessories and pipe systems. Pump Supplies operates through five depots in England, Wales and Ireland. With 90 employees it is headquartered in Gloucester.
