Next generation EnviroHub Control Module launched

envirohub

EnviroHub, an Atlantic Pumps brand and manufacturer of modular water management systems has launched an upgraded control module that builds on the success of its CM01.

EnviroHub is a modular system of HIAB/Forklift portable water treatment units. It is used extensively for pH correction, flocculation, lamella silt settlement, and dosing, in addition to flow and quality monitoring.

The control module for the system is an advanced programmable logic controller (PLC), and this latest patent-pending version takes the EnviroHub system’s flexibility and effectiveness to many new potential use cases.

Cloud-based live data records and remote pumping system control

The CM02 opens reporting and control of multiple water quality factors between fluid handling equipment such as pumps, treatment systems, and valves.

Each CM02 can send multiple parameter reports, such as flow rates, water levels, turbidity, pH, and temperature etc – and receive ‘commands’ back in return. For example, water clarity, pH and temperature can be reported live to Senteos – the online water management software – then pre-programmed or manually initiated ‘commands’ can be sent back. These ‘commands’ could be to turn pumps on or off, open and close valves, or simply alert site managers to a potential issue.

Pre-programmed Cards are available for many different data reporting and command actions, making application-specific setup quick, straightforward, and interchangeable between Control Modules.

Modular and Re-configurable

Designed for flexibility and adaption, the CM02 is ideal for multi-site and multi-fleet asset owners as each module can be reconfigured and redeployed as required by switching Cards around. This ‘plug-and-play’ approach reduces the change of operator error and this latest CM02 release allows up to 15 inputs/outputs per module, increasing the ease of multi-point reporting and control. Compared with the CM01, additional sensors and control equipment can be installed as needed – making this expandable system cost-effective to scale and adaptable to future needs.

The Core Board in the Module automatically detects which Card is inserted, meaning it doesn’t need a specialist to reconfigure it onsite.

The new level of energy efficiency, together with the outer Module’s IP67 rating, makes the new CM02 ideal for monitoring and controlling water flow and quality on remote, even off-grid sites. Coupled with Senteos online cloud-based portal, and EnviroHub’s secure networking solutions, there are few locations that are beyond deployment. Remote quarries, deep mines, wells-pits, restricted access areas, confined spaces, etc – reduce worker risk exposure, lone working, and monitoring visits while gaining greater insights and control with EnviroHub.
