Europump Annual Meeting & General Assembly set for Prague this May

Europump, the European Association of Pump Manufacturers, has announced a series of insightful keynote presentations from distinguished speakers at its upcoming Annual Meeting and General Assembly, set to take place in Prague from 21st – 23rd May.

The Association said the event promises to be a key gathering for industry professionals, bringing together leading experts, policymakers, and business leaders to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the pump sector.

This year’s keynote presentations include:

Aluminium: From the Green Deal to the Clean Industrial Deal” by George Karkampasis, Director Circular Economy & Raw Materials, European Aluminium Association.

“North American Market & Policy Update – What’s Next Under Trump 2.0?” by Michael Michaud, Executive Director, Hydraulic Institute.

“World Pumps Report 2025 – Statistical Update on Market Developments” by Kiran Ahmed, Lead Economist, Global Industry Services, Oxford Economics.

“Program of New Nuclear Power Units in the Czech Republic” by Mr. Milan Krivda, Head of Nuclear Department, Nuclear Research Institute Rez plc

In addition to these keynotes, the event will also feature three parallel working sessions, scheduled for Wednesday, 21st May, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. These sessions, designed to foster in-depth discussions and collaboration, include:

Pump Knowledge Workshop – A forum for collecting and sharing pump-related guidebooks, whitepapers, and industry knowledge.

CE Marking Working Session – A dedicated session addressing CE marking regulations and their implications.

Alignment of Global Efficiency – A discussion on the harmonization of international efficiency standards for water pumps and the extended product approach perspective.

Participation in these sessions is limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Europump said its Annual Meeting & General Assembly remains a cornerstone event for the industry, providing a unique platform for networking, learning, and influencing future industry developments.
