Water Equipment Show opens today for what is set to be the biggest event in the show’s history

The Water Equipment Show opens its doors in Telford today for what is set to be the biggest event in the show’s history.

The one day event, organised by The Pump Centre, is aimed at those operating within the water and wastewater industry, showcasing a wide range of equipment and services that are available from over 140 exhibitors from the UK’s leading manufacturers, suppliers and contractors, with technical conferences and breakout sessions.

The show, held in the Telford International Centre, is open on Thursday 15th May, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

Last night the industry gathered for The Pump Centre’s highly entertaining dinner and awards evening, hosted by retired English badminton player and Olympic medallist, Gail Emms. Gail was joined by sports legend Steve Davies, who helped with the fundraising raffle, in aid of Lancashire TAAG, and spoke after the dinner about his career in sports.

The evening included presentations to the four winners of this year’s Young Engineer Awards, which celebrates rising talent and achievements from the younger generation entering the water industry.
