Integrated approach essential to addressing climate emergency, says The Rivers Trust’s Mark Lloyd

A Water Vlog, with Phil Alsop, Editor of Water Magazine

Mark Lloyd, Chief Executive of The Rivers Trust, discusses the interim report of the Independent Water Commission, welcoming the focus on the need for a more integrated approach to water management and hoping that the final report will have more to say on the need for more water quality monitoring as well as recognising that the water companies are responsible for only a third of all river pollution, so other sources of water quality and quantity issues need to be targeted as well.

Mark also shares his thoughts as to the types of practical action which are needed to ensure that the current climate emergency is addressed with the urgency required.
