The organiser of Water, Wastewater and Environment Management Expo (WWEM Expo), previously known as WRM Expo, has announced major expansion for the 2025 edition of the Environmental Services & Solutions Expo (ESS Expo).
As a leading event for water management and wastewater professionals, WWEM Expo will be a core component of ESS Expo, taking place from 17–18 September at the NEC, Birmingham.
As part of this year’s enhanced offering, WWEM Expo will debut SuDS Live, a major new feature focused on Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS). This dedicated area will bring together leading experts, solution providers, and decision-makers to explore cutting-edge strategies for urban water management through live demonstrations, product showcases, and expert presentations.
Building on the success of last year’s Expo, which attracted over 4,000 high-level attendees, WWEM Expo will present 150 leading companies, including Aquamatic, Haldo, CIRIA/Susdrain and Teledyne Water. Visitors can expect a wide-ranging programme including live demos, product showcases and thought-provoking presentations addressing water networks and sewage, wastewater treatment, pollution reduction, water conservation, emergency flooding response, and more.
The Expo will also host the prestigious Environmental Monitoring Awards, recognising the greatest contributions to water management and environmental monitoring advancement. Judged by industry experts, the awards will spotlight the top innovations driving progress in an era of increased focus on sustainability and regulatory compliance.
Attendees of WWEM Expo include local authorities, wastewater consultants, major contractors, water companies, civil engineers, the Environment Agency, process industries and more, creating a platform for engaging discussions, strategic meetings and key industry updates.
Rob Mowat, Event Director of ESS Expo, said:
“As climate pressures intensify, and water security emerges as one of the defining challenges of our time – with MPs now calling on sector reform – the expansion of the Water, Wastewater and Environmental Management Expo is both timely and vital.
“The event provides a dedicated platform for sector leaders to connect, share solutions, and advance technologies that protect this critical resource. Whether you’re driving policy, engineering solutions, or managing resources, WWEM Expo offers valuable insights and connections that can help shape a more resilient and sustainable future for water management, while contributing to the broader advancement of the environmental sector.”
ESS Expo will also host Resource & Waste Management Expo (RWM Expo); Complete Auto Recycling Show (CARS Expo); Metal Recycling Event (MRE Expo); Air Quality & Emissions Expo (AQE Expo); Energy, Fuels & Decarbonisation Expo (EFD Expo); Contamination & Land Remediation Expo (CLR Expo) and Geotechnical Engineering and Operations Expo (GEO Expo), giving all attendees vast opportunities to source the latest services, technologies, and solutions for the wider environmental sector.
