He also played a pivotal role in managing the technical and regulatory transition following the UK’s departure from the EU—defining requirements and leading the project to ensure that machines sold into the UK continue to meet British standards and UK legislation.

HUBER said that Paul will head up a strong, experienced Engineering & Operations Team in the UK and Ireland supported by Ben Shore, Head of Projects and Engineering, who brings over 27 years of experience with HUBER products and a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Alongside them is Daniel Taylor, Engineering Manager, who plays a key role in driving day-to-day engineering performance and supporting the continuous improvement of processes and product development. Together, the team brings deep technical expertise and strong leadership to support HUBER’s growth and innovation strategy

Looking to the future, Paul said he is committed to advancing HUBER’s capabilities by championing the development of innovative technologies and bringing forward-thinking solutions to market, focusing on collaborating with HUBER’s parent company with new product development and ensuring the successful deployment of these solutions to the UK market, helping HUBER stay at the forefront of innovation in the industry.

The company said his leadership has been instrumental in driving innovation, maintaining compliance, and ensuring operational excellence across the business.

Commenting on his new appointment, Paul said:

“I’m incredibly proud to take on this role and to lead such a talented and driven team. We’re at a really exciting point in time within the water industry right now, and I’m looking forward to building on our strong foundations to deliver innovative solutions that truly add value for our customers and help drive the business forward.”
