CIWEM offers free access to PFR training at Flood & Coast 2022

Flood & Coast 2022, 7 to 9 June, Telford International Centre, UK

CIWEM has announced it will offer free access to PFR training at Flood & Coast 2022, due to take place in Telford in June this year.

Individuals working for Risk Management Authorities (RMAs) are invited to a free full-day training session on Property Flood Resilience (PFR).

This training will be tailored specifically to the needs of Risk Management Authorities. It provides an overview of stakeholder expectations and best practice in delivering each stage of the Code of Practice for Property Flood Resilience.

The offer is available to professionals involved at any stage of the PFR process, including Environment Agency (EA) staff, Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs), District and Borough Council, Coast protection authorities, Water and sewerage companies (WaSCs), Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs), Highways authorities (Local Authorities and National Highways) and water companies who undertake the management of PFR projects.

The offer includes:

  • 1 full day of PFR seminars and workshops on 7th June
  • 2-for-1 discount on Day 2 & 3 Flood and Coast 2022 conference delegates passes
  • Access to the tradeshow and exhibition for all 3 days

This training is supported by the Environment Agency and delivered by CIWEM.
