Northumbrian Water appoints industry expert as new Head of Environment and Sustainability

Northumbrian Water has appointed industry expert Zoe Frogbrook as its new Head of Environment and Sustainability.

Zoe brings a wealth of experience to the role, along with a strong, strategic vision for the company’s work to protect and enhance the environment.

Over the last ten years, Zoe has worked for Scottish Water, most recently as Strategic Engagement Manager, and her career also includes positions as a soil scientist for the Centre of Ecology and Hydrology in Wales, and providing advice and guidance to organisations including the Welsh Government and the Forestry Commission as part of her work for the Environment Agency Wales (now part of Natural Resources Wales).

Louise Hunter, Corporate Affairs Director at Northumbrian Water, said:

“The environment is at the heart of everything we do, so we are really excited to have been able to appoint someone with Zoe’s experience, expertise and drive to this important role. We’re all really looking forward to working with Zoe and supporting her passion to be a leader of our environmental work.”
