Danfoss Power Solutions names Jessica Zhang Vice President of Human Resources

Danfoss Power Solutions has appointed Jessica Zhang as Vice President of Human Resources. Zhang will report directly to Eric Alström, president of Danfoss Power Solutions, and will join the Power Solutions Leadership Team. She will also represent Danfoss Power Solutions on the Danfoss Group HR Leadership Team. Zhang is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.

Zhang brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources management to her new role, including expertise in HR strategy, organizational design and development, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion. She has worked in and with employee groups around the world, including North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Zhang joins Danfoss from Eaton Corporation, where she spent nearly 14 years in various senior human resources roles across the corporate HR Centre of Excellence and the company’s Industrial and Electrical sectors. She most recently served as Vice President of HR for Eaton’s Energy Solutions and Services group.

Prior to joining Eaton, Zhang spent 10 years at global HR consultancy Hewitt Associates (now part of Aon). During her time there, she gained extensive experience consulting for some of the world’s leading companies.

Zhang holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from East China University of Science and Technology.
