Euroby appoints Stuart Heley as its new Managing Director

Euroby Ltd, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of waste processing equipment and dewatering expertise, has announced the appointment of Stuart Heley as Managing Director.

Stuart began his career in the water industry in the mid-eighties with Alfa Laval. In 2002 he joined Euroby as a Support Manager, rising through the ranks to eventually spend six years as the company’s General Manager.

Having been in the industry for over 35 years, he has extensive experience in the utilities and industrial process sectors, and is recognised as an expert in the field of centrifuge technologies and other dewatering equipment.

Since its incorporation in 1996, Euroby has been at the forefront of sales, marketing, operation, service and maintenance of separation technology under the leadership of well-known industry campaigner, Barry Ley. Throughout the years it has successfully represented two world renowned centrifuge manufacturers – Bird Humboldt and Flottweg, and now represents Polat Makina.

Euroby’s founder, Barry Ley, said:

“When Euroby was incorporated as a Limited company in 1996 there was only one employee and one customer – over the years we have served in excess of 1,500 different customers most of which are repetitive and completed at least an estimated 650 rentals. Throughout the life of Euroby it has always been a progressive company, working through constant change driven by its clients, regulation and technical and commercial pressure. “

“I’m looking forward to taking on a new role myself, as Chief Executive Officer and helping Stuart take Euroby to the next level.”

Stuart Heley commented:

“I am very excited to be joining Euroby, and taking the company, created by Barry, onto its next chapter of development.

“The commercial and regulatory challenges which we all face in the UK market make this a challenge which I am very passionate about. I welcome the opportunity to build on the foundations created by Barry, and to work alongside the team at Euroby.”
