Pozitive Water has appointed Craig Rogers as Head of Water Technical Services – bringing with him over 24 years’ experience of water and environmental consultancy.

Pozitive Water – formerly First Business Water, until its recent rebrand – provides over 5,000 SME customers across 12,000 supply points with water and wastewater solutions. The water and wastewater retailer is part of the UK’s largest independent B2B energy supplier, PE.

Craig takes on a newly created role within the organisation – providing expert scientific and technical guidance on how SMEs can save water, lower their bills, and improve their sustainability credentials.

He’s tasked with expanding Pozitive Water’s Technical Services team, so that more UK SMEs are better equipped to safeguard valuable water resources.

“There is such a huge drive and determination to promote water efficiency to customers at Pozitive Water, I immediately wanted to be part of it,” said Craig Rogers, of his appointment. “Water is an often-overlooked service because it’s less expensive than other utilities. But it’s one of the most vital and sacred resources on the planet, and its cost is also on the up. We can all be doing more to reduce its wastage, and unnecessary business expenditure, in what remains a challenging economic environment.”

Pritesh Patel, CEO of Pozitive Water, said that he’s delighted to welcome such a senior level water technical specialist to the team. “Craig’s appointment as our Head of Water Technical Services is strategically important for our future customer service offering. Our customer base of SMEs is the bedrock of the nation’s economy, and water and cost efficiencies and savings have never been so important. We’ve always been focussed on providing the most innovative water and wastewater solutions, and the addition of Craig to our team – with the immense experience he brings – will stand us in even greater stead to meet our customers’ needs, and those of the environment.”
