Leading water engineering solutions company, ELIQUO HYDROK, has announced the appointment of Matt Down as Managing Director, working jointly with current Managing Director, Peter Wroe.
As of June 2025, Matt and Peter will work together as Managing Directors to accelerate future growth plans. Their key focus will be on effective strategy delivery, building upon the company’s reputation for engineering excellence, in close partnership with all UK water utility companies.
Matt brings a wealth of experience as leader of manufacturing, engineering, project management and aftermarket teams. He joins from Howden Turbo UK where he was Managing Director for the steam turbines business following 8 years as their Aftermarket Director. His previous employers include Dresser-Rand, Rolls-Royce and Transport for London where he project managed refurbishment of London Underground stations.
Matt has an MSc in Project Management and has a strong background in Mechanical Engineering.
