Megan McDowell, SHEQ Advisor at Mabey Hire, spoke on this, saying:

“We’ve held each of these standards for over a decade now, and an incredible 23 years for the ISO 9001 standard,  which really is a remarkable achievement. This was very much a joint effort from Yard Operatives and Drivers, through to our Directors, demonstrating our commitment and dedication to excellence that we hold at Mabey Hire.

“We take our responsibility to the environment, the safety of our customers, and our own people very seriously, and have once again displayed our commitment and dedication to excellence. We were especially happy to hear the positive feedback on our SHEAssure software for recording audits, tours and inspections, as well as the improvement projects we have in place from our Roadmap. We’d like to thank everyone at Mabey Hire for their hard work in manitaining these vital standards.”

As part of the company’s commitment to continual improvement, it is looking to further improve its waste retrieval processes, as well as an even more robust onboarding of new suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

The NQA, a global certification body, operates in over 100 countries around the world, supporting clients with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards. Whether looking at the management systems of a company or the health and safety of workers, ISO standards are key to demonstrating that a business takes its responsibilities seriously.
