Visitors to WWEM can experience same continuous water quality monitoring demonstration provided to UK Government

WWWEM (Water, Wastewater & Environmental Monitoring) and AQE (Air Quality & Emissions) take place on 12 & 13 October 2022, Telford International Centre, Shropshire, UK

Visitors to this year’s Water and Wastewater Monitoring conference and exhibition (WWEM 2022) will be able to experience a demonstration of continuous water quality monitoring that was originally provided to the UK Government’s Environment Audit Committee (EAC) during its investigation into river water quality earlier this year.

Amidst growing concern with bathing water quality and the impact of effluent discharge and CSOs, the committee was keen to learn whether water resources could be protected by continuous monitoring. As a proven specialist in this area Meteor Communications have been installing and operating remote water quality monitoring systems all over the UK for customers such as water utilities and the environmental regulators for many years. Meteor therefore provided the EAC with a live demonstration – logging into remote water quality monitors (ESNET – Environmental Sensor NETwork) systems to view current and historical water quality trends and incidents.

WWEM visitors to the Meteor stand (Q11) will be able to see an ESNET system and also select a river in order to view its water quality status. With independent power and communications, ESNET systems are quick and easy to install, and Meteor’s experts will be on hand to explain how ESNET Systems can be either purchased or provided as part of the company’s ‘Water Quality As a Service’ package.

It’s worth registering for the event, as pre-registered visitors will receive free entry to the exhibition, workshops and conference presentations, along with free parking, free refreshments and free entry to the co-located AQE 2022 event.

You can pre-register for WWEM, which will be held in-person on the 12th & 13th October in Telford, England by clicking here.
