GAP Group Pump Services is expanding

GAP Hire Solutions, one of the UK’s largest independent hire companies, is celebrating the first year of its Pump Services division, and the opening of two new depots in Warrington and Dundee.

The Group’s eleventh specialist division has made great strides over the course of the year in being able to offer customers the highest quality service, market leading products and services and fuel-efficient technology.

GAP Group has made an investment of over £20million in the division over the first year, with more than 500 Stage V pumps, and 150,000 metres of hose. The division now operates from eight depots nationwide, including the new Warrington and Dundee depots, with plans for further expansion. GAP’s skilled team offer a personal tailor-made service to support their customers which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

GAP Pump Services focuses on special fluid movement, from basic dewatering to dedicated system design. Under the GAP Environmental product group ranges, the hire company has Chemical Dosing Plants, Lamella Clarifiers, pH Balancing Systems and Recycling Concrete Wash Systems. All GAP pumps are colour coordinated for different uses including draining, sewage and hydraulics, which ensures no cross-contamination.

GAP equipment has been sourced from industry-leading suppliers including Atlas Copco, DXB Pump & Power and Active Engineering. All pumps are available in a range of sizes.

Richard Broughton, Head of Pump Services commented:

As we fast approach the one-year anniversary of the division, we have made large strides forward in offering our customers the latest pump and treatment technology, which is coupled with market leading fuel efficiency.

We have been continually focusing on providing market-leading solutions to customers, with their ever-evolving requirements. Some of these requirements have led to extensive research and development to provide unique product offerings, including our Fuel Safes, Light Weight Rapid Response Pumps, and Modular Pedestrian Bridges which have all been designed using market feedback analysis from customers. With more unique product lines becoming available in the coming months, we continue to invest in product lines to reduce our customers’ Carbon Emissions and Energy Requirements to help protect to the environment.”

GAP Group continuously works to make their customers’ lives easier, and the expansion of the Pump Services Division allows the hire company to meet their requirements efficiently and effectively.
